Overstaying the 30-day window is permitted but triggers a sliding-scale surcharge paid on departure (stays can effectively be extended up to 120 days and beyond by paying the overstay fee). Travelers should carry a return/onward ticket, proof of sufficient funds, and an address in the country. There is no Schengen relevance: the Dominican Republic is a Caribbean nation, not part of Europe, and ETIAS does not apply to this route.
