Do Singapore passport holders need a visa to visit Taiwan?
Singapore ordinary passport holders can visit Taiwan visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism. No visa is needed, but you must complete the free online Taiwan Arrival Card (TWAC) before arrival. Singapore is on Taiwan's visa-exemption list. Holders of an ordinary Singapore passport may enter Taiwan without a visa and stay up to 30 days for tourism, business, or family visits. The passport must be valid for at least six months on the date of entry, and you must hold a confirmed return or onward ticket. The 30-day stay counts from the day after arrival and is not extendable. Since 1 October 2025, all foreign visitors (including visa-exempt travelers) must complete the free online Taiwan Arrival Card (TWAC) within three days before arrival, as paper arrival cards have been discontinued. There is no government fee for visa-free entry.
