Singapore to El Salvador visa requirements

Singapore ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in El Salvador. You enter visa-free for up to 90 days, but every visitor must buy a Tourist Card (Tarjeta de Turismo) for US$12 on arrival at the airport or land border. As of 2026, Singapore ordinary passport holders enjoy visa-free entry to El Salvador for short tourist stays. No visa is required in advance. On arrival you purchase a Tourist Card (Tarjeta de Turismo) for US$12 (cash, USD), which authorizes a stay of up to 90 days. El Salvador uses the US dollar as its official currency, so all fees are paid in USD. Importantly, El Salvador is part of the CA-4 Border Control Agreement with Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua: the 90-day allowance is shared across all four countries combined, not 90 days per country. There is no eVisa or pre-arrival registration for Singaporeans. Standard entry conditions apply: a passport valid for the duration of stay (6 months recommended), proof of onward or return travel, and sufficient funds. The Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms the visa-free + US$12 tourist card arrangement, and El Salvador's immigration policy lists Singapore among visa-exempt jurisdictions. El Salvador is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
