Singapore to Serbia visa requirements

Singapore ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for Serbia. You may enter and stay visa-free for up to 90 days within a 180-day (six-month) period, counted from the date of first entry. A Singapore ordinary passport holder can travel to Serbia for tourism or a short visit without any visa. Both Serbia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Singapore's MFA confirm visa-free entry for up to 90 days within a 180-day (six-month) period, calculated from the date of first entry. Serbia is NOT a member of the Schengen Area or the EU, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and the upcoming EU ETIAS authorization do NOT apply to a Serbia trip — Serbia operates its own independent visa policy with its own separate 90-day count. No prior application, electronic authorization, or visa-on-arrival is required. At immigration you must hold a passport valid for at least the duration of stay (six months' validity is the safest standard most travelers use), and you should be able to show proof of onward or return travel and, if asked, accommodation details and sufficient funds. One important practical rule: if you stay in private accommodation rather than a hotel, you must register your address with the local police within 24 hours of arrival; hotels and registered hostels do this for you automatically. Failing to register, or overstaying the 90 days, can lead to fines and exit problems.

How to apply

/01
Confirm your passport validity
Check that your Singapore ordinary passport is valid for at least the duration of your stay; six months' validity beyond entry is the recommended safe standard and is widely expected by carriers.
· Before booking
/02
Book travel and accommodation
Reserve return or onward flights and lodging. Serbia is not in Schengen, so a Serbia visa-free stay does not consume any Schengen 90/180 allowance.
· Independent of Schengen
/03
Prepare supporting documents
Carry proof of onward/return travel, accommodation confirmation, and evidence of sufficient funds in case border officers ask.
· Recommended
/04
Arrive and clear immigration
Present your passport at the border. No visa, fee, or electronic authorization is needed. Your 90-day visa-free clock starts on the date of first entry.
· At the border
/05
Register your stay if needed
If staying in private accommodation (e.g., with friends, an apartment, or Airbnb not handling it), register your address with the local police within 24 hours. Hotels/registered hostels do this for you.
· Within 24 hours
/06
Track and respect the 90/180 limit
Do not exceed 90 days of stay within any rolling 180-day period. Apply for a temporary residence permit in advance if you need a longer stay.
· Avoid overstay fines
