Singapore to Peru visa requirements
No visa required. Singapore ordinary passport holders can enter Peru visa-free for tourism. Immigration typically grants a stay of up to 90 days at the border, with a legal maximum of 183 days within any 365-day period. Singapore is on Peru's visa-exemption list for tourism and short visits, so an ordinary SG passport holder does not need a visa or any pre-travel authorization to enter Peru as a tourist. Peru is in South America and is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Under Peru's Legislative Decree 1582 (in force since late 2023), foreign tourists may stay for up to 183 accumulated days within a 365-day period; however, since 2021 the immigration officer at the port of entry decides the exact number of days granted and in practice usually stamps up to 90 days. The stay length is recorded electronically (the paper Tarjeta Andina de Migracion has been digitized at most entry points), so travelers should confirm the granted period and keep evidence of their entry date. Tourist stays cannot be extended in-country for Singaporeans (only Bolivian, Ecuadorian and Colombian nationals can extend), so plan to leave before the granted period expires. Entry conditions include a passport valid for at least 6 months, proof of onward or return travel, and sufficient funds for the stay. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is recommended if visiting jungle/Amazon regions. There is no visa fee for visa-free tourist entry.
