Singapore to Mongolia visa requirements

Singapore passport holders can enter Mongolia visa-free for tourism or business and stay up to 30 days, under a bilateral visa-exemption agreement in force since 8 June 2017. Singapore ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa to visit Mongolia for short tourism or business trips. Under a mutual visa-waiver agreement that took effect on 8 June 2017 (following PM Lee Hsien Loong's 2016 visit), Singapore nationals are exempt from visa requirements for stays of up to 30 days per entry. This is a permanent treaty-based exemption, separate from Mongolia's temporary unilateral visa-waiver program (extended through 2026) that benefits dozens of other countries. To use the exemption, travelers simply arrive at a Mongolian port of entry with a valid Singapore passport. Singapore's MFA recommends a passport valid at least six months beyond the intended stay, with blank pages, and proof of onward/return travel. No visa fee applies. For stays longer than 30 days, or for work, study, or residence, an appropriate visa must be obtained in advance through the Mongolian Immigration Agency / a Mongolian diplomatic mission. Note that Singapore has no embassy in Mongolia, so consular support is limited and handled remotely.
