Malaysia to Honduras visa requirements

Malaysian ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in Honduras. They may enter visa-free for up to 90 days under Honduras's visa-exemption policy. Malaysia is one of the jurisdictions whose ordinary passport holders are exempt from a visa to visit Honduras for tourism or short visits. The visa-free stay is up to 90 days. Importantly, Honduras is part of the CA-4 Central America Border Control Agreement (with Guatemala, El Salvador and Nicaragua), so the 90-day allowance is shared across all four countries combined — time spent in any CA-4 country counts against the same 90-day limit, and crossing between CA-4 countries does not reset the clock. No advance application, eVisa or visa-on-arrival is required for Malaysians. Travelers must hold a passport valid for at least three months, show proof of onward or return travel, and at some entry points pay a small tourist card/entry fee (about USD 3-12, commonly cited near USD 12, sometimes waived). Honduras carries elevated crime-related travel advisories, so normal safety precautions are recommended, but this does not affect the visa status. To overstay 90 days an extension must be requested from Honduran immigration (Instituto Nacional de Migracion).
