🇲🇾Malaysia🇧🇸The BahamasMY-BS Malaysia to The Bahamas visa requirements
Malaysian ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa to visit the Bahamas for tourism. They are granted visa-free entry for stays of up to 3 months, provided they hold a passport valid for at least 6 months, carry a return/onward ticket, and can show proof of funds and accommodation. The Bahamas grants visa-free entry to Malaysian ordinary passport holders for short tourist visits of up to 3 months. No advance visa, eVisa, or visa-on-arrival is required. At the port of entry, travelers must satisfy standard conditions: a passport valid for at least six months beyond entry, a confirmed return or onward ticket, evidence of sufficient funds, and proof of accommodation. Travelers currently complete a paper Immigration Disembarkation/Embarkation Card on arrival; in May 2026 the Bahamas began a limited pilot of a Bahamas Digital Arrival Card (BDAC) for selected flights, but the paper card remains the standard process nationwide, so most Malaysian travelers will still fill out the arrival card on the plane or at the airport. Admission is always at the discretion of the immigration officer, and visitors may not work or stay beyond the granted period without applying for an extension before it expires.
