The 90/180 rule is calculated on a rolling basis across the entire Schengen Area (30 countries), not Belgium alone. Note an upcoming change: ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System) is expected to launch in late 2026 (Q4), after which visa-exempt travelers including Malaysians will need a EUR 7 online travel authorisation before departure.
