Mexico to Uzbekistan visa requirements

Mexican ordinary passport holders can enter Uzbekistan visa-free for tourism and short visits of up to 30 days. No visa or e-visa is required in advance. As of mid-2026, holders of an ordinary Mexican passport do not need a visa to travel to Uzbekistan for tourism or short visits. Mexico ("United Mexican States") is on Uzbekistan's official visa-exemption list in the 30-day category, confirmed by the Uzbekistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs visa portal. Travelers may stay up to 30 days per entry visa-free. The passport should be valid for the duration of stay (a 6-month validity buffer is widely recommended), with at least one blank page for the entry stamp. No advance application, fee, or e-visa is required for stays within 30 days. The main on-the-ground obligation is registration: foreign visitors must hold valid registration by the third day of their stay. If you stay in a hotel, the hotel registers you automatically; if you stay in private accommodation, you self-register via the Emehmon online system (emehmon.uz). For stays longer than 30 days, or for non-tourist purposes such as work or study, an e-visa (USD 20 for 30 days, single/multiple entry) or a traditional visa through an Uzbek diplomatic mission is required.
