Mexico to Ukraine visa requirements

A Mexican ordinary passport holder needs an electronic visa (e-Visa) to enter Ukraine for tourism. Ukraine is not visa-free for Mexico and is not in the Schengen Area. Apply online before travel at the official portal evisa.mfa.gov.ua; the single-entry tourist e-Visa costs USD 20 and permits a stay of up to 30 days. As of 2026, Mexico is NOT on Ukraine's visa-free list. Mexican ordinary passport holders fall under Ukraine's electronic visa (e-Visa) program, which Ukraine resumed issuing on 19 February 2025 after the 2022 wartime suspension. Mexico is one of roughly 45 eligible nationalities. The e-Visa is applied for entirely online at the official Ministry of Foreign Affairs portal (evisa.mfa.gov.ua) before departure; there is no visa-on-arrival for Mexican tourists. The tourist/private e-Visa permits a single or double entry with a maximum stay of 30 days. The consular fee is USD 20 for single-entry and USD 30 for double-entry, with expedited processing available at a higher fee. Standard processing is typically within about 9 working days (some categories decided faster). Ukraine is not a member of the Schengen Area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply; the EU's ETIAS does not cover travel to Ukraine. Note: due to Russia's ongoing full-scale invasion, Mexico and most governments maintain do-not-travel advisories for Ukraine, civilian airspace is closed, and entry is by land or rail only. Travelers should always verify current entry rules with the Ukrainian MFA before booking, as wartime rules can change.
