Italy to Timor-Leste visa requirements

Italian passport holders can travel to Timor-Leste visa-free for tourism, staying up to 90 days within any 180-day period under the EU/Timor-Leste short-stay visa waiver agreement. Note that the older customs.gov.tl guidance listing only Portugal and the US as exempt predates and is superseded by the EU-wide visa waiver; the EUR-Lex legal instrument and the Immigration Service confirm the EU exemption. Entry by land from Indonesia has different rules for nationalities that need visas, but the visa exemption itself applies to Italians at recognized entry points.
