Indonesia to Madagascar visa requirements

Indonesian ordinary passport holders need a visa for Madagascar, but it is easy to obtain. The recommended route is the official Madagascar eVisa (single-entry tourist visa, up to 60 days), which can also be obtained as a visa on arrival at the airport for the same price. Madagascar is not visa-free for Indonesian citizens. Applying online in advance is recommended because the eVisa is issued within 72 hours and speeds airport processing, avoiding long queues at the visa-on-arrival counter. Passports should be valid for at least six months. Madagascar is not in the Schengen area, so Schengen and ETIAS rules do not apply.
