France to Liberia visa requirements

Yes, French ordinary passport holders need a visa to visit Liberia. France is explicitly excluded from Liberia's e-Visa-on-Arrival system (launched 11 March 2025), so you must apply in advance at the Liberian Embassy (in Brussels, which covers France) before travel. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory. French citizens are not visa-exempt for Liberia and cannot use the new electronic Visa-on-Arrival portal (visaonarrival.lis.gov.lr). When Liberia rolled out the e-VOA on 11 March 2025, it excluded 23 countries that host a Liberian diplomatic mission, including France; nationals/residents of those countries must apply for a traditional visa through the embassy instead.
