France to Guyana visa requirements

No visa required. French ordinary passport holders can enter Guyana (Georgetown, South America) for tourism visa-free for up to 90 days. French citizens holding an ordinary passport do not need a visa to visit the Co-operative Republic of Guyana for tourism or short visits. France is on Guyana's visa-exemption list, granting stays of up to 90 days. Note that Guyana is an independent country in South America (capital Georgetown) and must not be confused with French Guiana, the French overseas department next door. Guyana is not part of the Schengen Area, so no Schengen 90/180 rule or ETIAS applies. To enter, travelers need a passport valid for at least 6 months, proof of onward or return travel, and proof of sufficient funds and accommodation. Immigration officers grant the length of stay on arrival; extensions can be requested locally from the Department of Immigration. While Guyana operates an eVisa facility for some nationalities, French nationals do not need it for short tourist stays.
