France to Brazil visa requirements

Visa-free for up to 90 days in any 180-day period for French citizens. France Diplomatie states this stay cannot be renewed. French ordinary passport holders are visa-exempt for Brazil for tourism and qualifying short business travel, but the current limit is 90 days in any 180-day period, not an extendable 180 days per year. France Diplomatie states that French and other EU nationals' 90-day stay must fit within a 180-day migration-year period and cannot be renewed. A return or onward ticket is required, and France advises that the passport should be valid for at least six months from the return date of the trip. Paid work is not allowed on visa-free entry; short business meetings, conferences, contracts, market prospecting and similar punctual professional activities are allowed. Brazil's eVisa portal is for selected nationalities and does not create an eVisa requirement for French citizens.
