France to Mexico visa requirements

Visa-free for French ordinary passport holders for tourism or other unpaid visits up to 180 days; no ETA/eVisa is required, and the immigration officer sets the actual stay. French ordinary passport holders do not need a Mexican visa, ETA, or eVisa for short tourism or other unpaid visitor travel to Mexico within the 180-day limit. Entry is still discretionary: immigration officers may ask for a valid passport, return or onward travel, accommodation, itinerary, funds, and the address/time of stay in Mexico, and they decide the number of days authorized. At international airports, Mexico says travelers do not present, fill out, or carry a paper FMM because the record is generated by the immigration authority and the stamp/e-gate ticket or FMMd is the proof of lawful stay. Land arrivals still use an FMM; the current federal visitor fee shown by INM-certified guidance is MXN 983 when a separate payment is required.
