Finland to Thailand visa requirements

Finnish ordinary passport holders are currently visa-free for up to 60 days. A 2026 Cabinet-approved reduction is pending Royal Gazette publication; until it takes effect, current 60-day entry conditions remain. Finnish ordinary passport holders are on Thailand's 60-day visa exemption list for tourism and short-term business engagements. The stay can be extended once for up to 30 more days at Thai Immigration, subject to officer discretion. On 19 May 2026, Thailand's Cabinet approved revoking the 60-day scheme and moving countries to revised visa-exemption categories, but official TAT and Consular Department notices say the new rules take effect only 15 days after Ministry of Interior announcements are published in the Royal Gazette. Until then, current entry conditions remain in place, and travellers entering before the effective date may stay until the expiry of the permission granted on arrival. All non-Thai arrivals must submit the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) within 3 days before arrival. For work, long-term stay, retirement, family residence, study, or stays beyond the available exemption/extension, apply for the correct Thai e-Visa through the Royal Thai Embassy in Helsinki.
