Spain to Togo visa requirements
Spanish ordinary passport holders need a visa for Togo, obtained online as an eVisa through the official Togo Voyage portal before travel. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory for entry. Spain is not a member of ECOWAS (CEDEAO) and has no visa-waiver agreement with Togo, so Spanish ordinary passport holders require a visa for tourism. As of 2026 Togo has centralized its visa issuance on the official Togo Voyage eVisa platform (voyage.gouv.tg), which has effectively replaced the traditional visa-on-arrival channel. Travelers create an account, verify eligibility, complete the form, upload documents and pay online. The tourist eVisa is issued for single or multiple entry depending on selection, with fees ranging from 25,000 to 65,000 CFA francs (XOF) according to duration. Processing takes up to 5 working days, and applications must be submitted at least 6 working days before arrival to avoid a late surcharge. A valid yellow fever vaccination certificate is required of all travelers, and many arrivals must also complete an online traveler declaration form before boarding. Togo is in West Africa and is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to this route.
