Spain to Haiti visa requirements

Spanish ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in Haiti. You can enter visa-free for up to 90 days (3 months), but you must pay a US$10 tourist fee in cash on arrival and hold a passport valid for at least 6 months. As of 2026, Spain (ES) ordinary passport holders are exempt from visas for short tourist visits to Haiti. Haiti grants visa-free entry to citizens of most countries, including all EU member states, for stays of up to 90 days (3 months). No advance application, eVisa, or pre-approval is required. On arrival, every non-Haitian traveler must pay a tourist fee of US$10 in cash (credit cards are not accepted at the entry desk), and a departure tax of around US$55 applies on exit (usually bundled into the airfare). The passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the arrival date. Only nine nationalities require a pre-arranged visa (Dominican Republic, Panama, Colombia, Cuba, Syria, Libya, Iran, Vietnam, Yemen) and Spain is not among them. Important practical note: Haiti's security situation is severe in 2026 and multiple foreign ministries, including Spain's, advise against all travel due to gang violence and the closure/disruption of Port-au-Prince airport. The visa-free policy is unrelated to Schengen rules (Haiti is in the Caribbean, not the Schengen area), and ETIAS does not apply.
