Spain to Fiji visa requirements

Spanish citizens do not need a visa for Fiji. On arrival you receive a free Visitor Permit valid for up to 4 months for tourism, provided your passport is valid 6+ months and you hold a return/onward ticket and proof of funds. Spain is on Fiji's official visa-exempted countries list, so an ordinary Spanish passport holder traveling for tourism does not need to apply for a visa in advance. On arrival at Nadi or Suva, an immigration officer issues a Visitor Permit free of charge, normally valid for up to 4 months (the exact period is at the officer's discretion and may be shorter). Entry conditions are a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended departure with at least one blank page, a confirmed return or onward ticket, proof of sufficient funds, and accommodation details. If you wish to stay longer, the Visitor Permit can be extended once, for a maximum of two additional months, by applying to the Department of Immigration before the permit expires; the extension fee is FJD 93.00 (effective 1 August 2025). Fiji is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to this route. There is no eVisa or visa-on-arrival fee for short tourist stays for Spanish nationals; the visa-free Visitor Permit is the correct channel.
