Spanish ordinary passport holders need a visa for Egypt, but can obtain it easily online as an eVisa (USD 25 single-entry, 30-day stay) before travel, or as a visa on arrival (USD 30 since March 2026) at major airports. For predictability and to avoid airport queues or portal/payment hiccups, applying for the eVisa at least one week before departure is recommended.
