Spain to The Bahamas visa requirements

Spanish ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa to visit the Bahamas for tourism. They may enter visa-free and stay up to 3 months (90 days), under the EU-Bahamas short-stay visa waiver agreement. The Bahamas is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply here. Spain is an EU member state, and the Commonwealth of The Bahamas maintains a mutual short-stay visa waiver agreement with the European Union (in force since 2009). Under this agreement, Spanish citizens holding a valid ordinary passport may enter The Bahamas without a visa for tourism, business or family visits and stay for up to three months (90 days) within a six-month period. The Bahamas is an independent Caribbean nation and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180-day rule and ETIAS are irrelevant for travel to the Bahamas. There is currently no electronic travel authorization (eTA/eVisa) requirement for Spanish nationals visiting the Bahamas. On arrival, travelers complete an immigration arrival/departure card and must satisfy standard entry conditions: a passport valid for the duration of stay (six months recommended), a confirmed return or onward ticket, proof of accommodation, and proof of sufficient funds. Note that a US transit visa or US ESTA may be needed separately if the routing connects through the United States, but this is unrelated to Bahamian entry rules.
