Spain to Afghanistan visa requirements

Spanish passport holders need a visa for Afghanistan. As of March 2026, the simplest route is the official online tourist e-Visa via the E-Afghans portal (single entry, 30-day stay). Critically, Spain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (exteriores.gob.es) recommends against any travel to Afghanistan due to a very high risk of terrorism, kidnapping and detention; there is no Afghan embassy in Spain and no Spanish embassy in Afghanistan.
