Australia to United Arab Emirates visa requirements

No advance tourist visa needed. Australian ordinary passport holders receive a free 90-day visa on arrival for the UAE. Australian ordinary passport holders do not need to arrange a tourist visa before flying to the UAE. UAE MoFA lists Australia as visa-free, and Emirates lists Australian passports under the 90-day visit eligibility group: the passport is stamped with a multiple-entry 90-day visit visa valid for 6 months from issue and for a total stay of 90 days. Smartraveller says tourist visas are issued on arrival in Abu Dhabi and Dubai for Australian passport holders with more than six months' validity; Australian passports must include a complete birthdate and gender, and both first and last name. Emergency passports are not accepted for entry. There is no fee or pre-application for the standard tourist visa on arrival. UAE ICP lists an AED 50 per-day fine for overstaying after the applicable grace period.
