Because Lebanon has no embassy or consulate in Vietnam, applicants apply through the nearest Lebanese mission abroad (for example Kuala Lumpur or Jakarta), where personal appearance is generally required. The single-entry tourist visa normally permits a stay of up to one month. Lebanon strictly refuses entry to any traveler whose passport shows Israeli stamps, visas or seals. Lebanon is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Given the prior-approval requirement and the absence of any no-visa channel, the correct verdict is visa-required, and travelers should allow 6-8 weeks of lead time.
