The government fee is EUR 70 (about 45,000 XAF) plus a EUR 15 processing fee for a 1-3 month single-entry visa, or EUR 185 (about 120,000 XAF) plus EUR 15 for a 6-month multiple-entry visa. As of early 2026, fees have generally been collected in cash on arrival when the sticker is issued; Gabon announced an initiative in late 2025 to integrate online payment so the whole process can be completed before departure, but travelers should be prepared to pay in cash on arrival and carry the exact amount. A traditional visa from a Gabonese diplomatic mission is also possible for those entering by land/sea or unable to use the e-Visa. Carry the same passport used for the application, as the passport number is encoded in the visa.
