Turkish ordinary passport holders need a visa to visit the Republic of Cyprus for tourism. You must apply in advance for a national Category C short-stay visa at a Cyprus embassy or consulate; there is no eVisa, visa-on-arrival, or visa-free entry for Turkish citizens. Turkish citizens therefore cannot enter visa-free, cannot use a Schengen visa, and there is no eVisa or visa-on-arrival channel for the Republic of Cyprus. The visa must be obtained from the Cyprus diplomatic mission (embassy/consulate). The Category C visa permits a stay of up to 90 days within any 180-day period, the fee is harmonized with Schengen at around EUR 90, and processing typically takes 7-15 working days. Note: this concerns the internationally recognized Republic of Cyprus (entry via Larnaca or Paphos airports and government-controlled ports); the self-declared 'TRNC' in the north operates separate, more lenient entry rules for Turkish nationals but is not a recognized state and entry there is not a legal entry into the Republic of Cyprus.
