The traveller must satisfy standard entry conditions: a passport valid at least 30 days beyond the intended departure date (South Africa's statutory minimum; many airlines and best practice recommend 6 months) with at least two blank pages, proof of onward or return travel, sufficient funds, and accommodation details. South Africa is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 short-stay rule and ETIAS do not apply to this route. The 90-day exemption is per visit and is granted at the discretion of the immigration officer, who may grant a shorter period. Note this verdict applies to ORDINARY passports only; diplomatic and official Saudi passport holders should verify separately.
