🇵🇭菲律宾(Philippines)🇱🇹立陶宛(Lithuania)PH-LT 菲律宾(Philippines) 前往 立陶宛(Lithuania) 签证要求
Yes, a visa is required. Philippine ordinary passport holders must obtain a Schengen short-stay (Type C) visa before traveling to Lithuania for tourism. The ETIAS travel authorization does NOT apply to Filipinos, who remain a visa-required nationality for the Schengen Area. Lithuania is a member of the Schengen Area, and the Philippines is on the EU list of nationalities that require a visa to enter. A Philippine ordinary passport holder therefore needs a Schengen short-stay (Uniform/Type C) visa for tourism or any short visit. This visa permits stays of up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period across the entire Schengen Area, not just Lithuania. Applications are submitted in advance; since Lithuania has no embassy with a visa section in Manila, Filipinos apply through VFS Global in Makati, where Lithuania (or a representing Schengen state) accepts applications. The standard adult visa fee is EUR 90 (raised from EUR 80 in June 2024), and the normal decision period is 15 calendar days, extendable to 30 or, exceptionally, 60 days. A separate point of confusion is ETIAS: although the EU is rolling out ETIAS in late 2026 for visa-exempt nationalities (e.g., US, UK, Japan, Australia), the Philippines is NOT visa-exempt, so ETIAS does not apply and a full Schengen visa remains mandatory. Travelers should default to applying for a Schengen Type C visa well ahead of travel.
