As an EU/Schengen national, you are granted visa-free entry for tourism, with an initial permitted stay of 30 days that can be extended in-country up to a total of 120 days for a fee. The only mandatory pre-arrival formality is the free electronic E-Ticket (migration form), completed online within 72 hours / up to a few days before travel, which generates a QR code shown at check-in and at the border. Under an exceptional measure in force until 31 December 2026, EU passports need only be valid for the duration of the stay (the usual six-months-beyond-stay rule is waived during this window); after that date the standard validity rule is expected to return. Overstaying beyond your authorized period results in a sliding-scale fine paid on departure. The Dominican Republic is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to this route.
