🇲🇾马来西亚(Malaysia)🇳🇮尼加拉瓜(Nicaragua)MY-NI 马来西亚(Malaysia) 前往 尼加拉瓜(Nicaragua) 签证要求
Malaysian ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in Nicaragua. Malaysia is on Nicaragua's Category A (visa-exempt) list, confirmed under the new Decree 002-2026 (effective 16 February 2026). You receive a tourist entry stamp on arrival for up to 90 days after paying a US$10 cash entry fee. Malaysia is classified as a Category A (visa-exempt) nationality under Nicaragua's overhauled visa framework, Decree/Regulation 002-2026, which came into force on 16 February 2026 and split the previous system into just Category A (visa-exempt) and Category C (Consulted Visa). Malaysia explicitly remained on the visa-exempt list, so Malaysian ordinary passport holders can travel to Nicaragua for tourism without a visa. On arrival at a Nicaraguan air, land or sea border, travelers are granted a tourist entry stamp permitting a stay of up to 90 days. A US$10 tourist entry fee is collected in cash at the point of entry (exact change recommended). Travelers should carry a passport valid for the duration of stay (six months beyond departure is widely recommended and often enforced), proof of onward or return travel, and evidence of sufficient funds. Nicaragua launched an electronic immigration portal in 2026 and recommends online pre-registration; for ordinary visa-exempt tourists this is generally a recommendation rather than a strict prerequisite, but it is sensible to complete it before travel. The verdict is visa-free for short tourist visits; it is unrelated to Schengen (Nicaragua is in Central America, not the Schengen area).
