A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required only if arriving from or transiting (within 6 days) a yellow fever endemic country. Guyana is located in South America and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Guyana has announced it is developing an electronic visa (eVisa) system, but as of mid-2026 visa-free entry remains in effect for Japanese nationals and no eVisa is required for them.
