Visa-on-arrival is technically still possible but, per the Burkina Faso authorities, is now issued only in exceptional circumstances, so travelers should obtain the eVisa before departure. Mandatory entry conditions include a passport valid at least six months, a yellow fever vaccination certificate (International Certificate of Vaccination), proof of accommodation (hotel booking), and proof of onward/return travel.
