The eTA costs about USD 32.50 (a roughly USD 30 government fee plus a small processing/bank charge), is single-entry, and permits a stay of up to 90 days. It is typically processed within 3 working days, though authorities recommend applying at least 2 weeks before travel. The approval is delivered by email and must be printed or saved to show on boarding and at the Kenyan border. Final admission is always at the discretion of the immigration officer at the port of entry. Kenya is in East Africa and is not part of the Schengen area, so no Schengen 90/180 rule or ETIAS applies.
