Israeli ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in the Dominican Republic. You enter visa-free for up to 30 days (extendable). The only mandatory step is the free online e-Ticket, completed before arrival and again before departure. As of June 2026, the Dominican Republic grants visa-free entry to Israeli ordinary passport holders for tourism and short visits. Israel is explicitly named on the Dominican Republic Ministry of Tourism's visa-exempt list. No tourist visa and no advance application are required. The former separate Tourist Card fee (US$10) is no longer collected at the airport, as it is now bundled into the cost of the airline ticket for most carriers. The one compulsory formality is the e-Ticket (Boleta Electronica / Electronic Ticket of Entry and Exit), a free digital form managed by the Direccion General de Migracion at eticket.migracion.gob.do, which all travelers must complete before boarding both their inbound and outbound flights. Standard authorized stay on entry is 30 days; this can be extended through the immigration department in Santo Domingo, and travelers who remain beyond the granted period pay a sliding-scale overstay fee at departure. Entry conditions: a passport valid (commonly required for 6 months), a return/onward ticket, and proof of sufficient funds. There is no Schengen consideration here because the Dominican Republic is a Caribbean nation, not part of the Schengen area, so the 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
