Applicants begin via Paraguay's Ministry of Foreign Affairs online visa system (Visas en Línea), completing a digital form and uploading documents, but the process is not a true standalone eVisa: the applicant must then attend a Paraguayan embassy or consulate (in-person interview and document submission, occasionally by video in justified cases). Because there is no Paraguayan diplomatic mission in Hong Kong, applicants typically use the nearest accredited mission (commonly the Embassy of Paraguay in Beijing/Tokyo or the consulate covering the region). The standard non-resident (tourist) visa allows stays of up to 90 days. Apply at least 30 days before travel. Travelers should confirm passport validity (at least 6 months) and carry proof of onward travel and accommodation. Given that no confirmed no-visa channel exists for Hong Kong, the conservative and accurate verdict is visa-required.
