Oman is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Overstaying the permitted period incurs fines of up to 10 OMR per day (maximum 500 OMR) and possible detention. Oman does not recognise dual nationality, so dual British-Omani citizens should enter on one passport consistently.
