The VoA is a single-entry permit valid for a stay of up to 30 days (extendable once for a further 30 days inside Bangladesh) and costs USD 51 or EUR 51, payable in cash only at the port of entry. Bangladesh does not operate a general tourist eVisa, so the VoA (or a sticker visa obtained in advance at the Bangladesh Embassy in Paris) is the standard route. Important: VoA is granted at the sole discretion of the immigration officer, and the facility can be temporarily suspended during sensitive periods (for example, a suspension applied around the January-February 2026 parliamentary elections). Travelers who want certainty, or who are arriving during a suspension window, should obtain a sticker visa from the Bangladesh Mission in France before departure.
