🇫🇮芬兰(Finland)🇸🇩苏丹(Sudan)FI-SD 芬兰(Finland) 前往 苏丹(Sudan) 签证要求
A Finnish ordinary passport holder needs a visa to enter Sudan; there is no visa-free, visa-on-arrival, or reliable eVisa channel, and the visa must be obtained in advance from a Sudanese embassy (nearest to Finland is in Stockholm). Finland (FI) ordinary passport holders are NOT eligible for visa-free entry, visa-on-arrival, or a confirmed eVisa to Sudan (SD). A tourist/visit visa must be obtained in advance from a Sudanese diplomatic mission. Finland has no embassy in Sudan and Sudan has no embassy in Helsinki, so applications are handled through the Sudanese Embassy in Stockholm (or via authorized visa agencies). Sudan's e-visa system is not consistently operational and is largely geared to business/work travel; conservative practice is to apply through the embassy. CRITICAL CONTEXT: Sudan is in an active civil war between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF). Khartoum International Airport (KRT) is closed, communications are frequently down, and Finland's Ministry for Foreign Affairs (Ulkoministeriö, advisory last updated 12 May 2026) advises against all travel to Sudan and tells citizens already there to leave immediately. Tourist travel is effectively impossible and strongly discouraged. Additionally, all foreigners must register with police within 3 days of arrival, and a separate travel permit is required to travel more than 25 km outside Khartoum (and a further permit for Darfur). This guide describes the formal visa process but the practical recommendation is to defer travel entirely.
