The Schengen 90/180 short-stay rule does not apply, as that rule governs non-EU visitors to the Schengen zone, which Ireland is not part of and German citizens are not subject to. There is no time limit on a German citizen's stay in Ireland; the right of residence beyond three months simply requires being employed, self-employed, studying, or self-sufficient, in line with EU free-movement directives.
