Austrian ordinary passport holders do not need a visa for tourism in Haiti. They may enter visa-free and stay up to 90 days, paying only a US$10 tourist fee on arrival. Because of significant ongoing security concerns (gang violence, kidnapping risk, and frequent airport disruptions in Port-au-Prince), Austria's foreign ministry and most Western governments advise against travel; the visa-free status does not change those safety warnings.
