Austria to Haiti visa requirements

Austrian ordinary passport holders do not need a visa for tourism in Haiti. They may enter visa-free and stay up to 90 days, paying only a US$10 tourist fee on arrival. Austria (AT) is not among the small list of nationalities Haiti requires a visa from. Holders of an ordinary Austrian passport can travel to Haiti for tourism or a short visit without obtaining any visa in advance. On arrival, travelers are admitted for a stay of up to 90 days and must pay a US$10 tourist fee (cash) at the airport. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival, and travelers should be able to show a return/onward ticket. There is no eVisa, ETA, or visa-on-arrival sticker process for Austrians — entry is simply granted at immigration. Note that Haiti is not in the Schengen area and the 90/180 Schengen short-stay rule and ETIAS do not apply here; ETIAS is a European requirement and is irrelevant to entering Haiti. Because of significant ongoing security concerns (gang violence, kidnapping risk, and frequent airport disruptions in Port-au-Prince), Austria's foreign ministry and most Western governments advise against travel; the visa-free status does not change those safety warnings. Always reconfirm requirements close to departure as the security situation can affect flight operations and entry procedures.
