However, the same MoFA destination page states that UAE nationals are prohibited from traveling to Mali until further notice, and a 9 December 2025 MoFA news release says the Ministry imposed a travel ban on UAE nationals traveling to Mali and urged UAE nationals already in Mali to return to the UAE as soon as possible. This page therefore keeps the immigration verdict as visa-free but flags the current UAE travel ban as the controlling practical issue. Travelers must still meet health and document requirements if travel becomes permitted: CDC notes that Mali requires yellow fever vaccination for all arriving travelers aged 9 months or older.
