Vietnam to Zimbabwe visa requirements
Vietnamese ordinary passport holders need a Zimbabwe eVisa, applied for and paid online before travel. Vietnam is on Zimbabwe's Category C list (visa required prior to arrival, not available on arrival). A Vietnam ordinary passport holder traveling to Zimbabwe for tourism must obtain a visa before departure. Zimbabwe classifies nationalities into three groups: Category A (visa-free), Category B (visa on arrival), and Category C (must apply, pay and obtain a visa before travelling). Vietnam falls in Category C, so a Vietnamese tourist cannot get a visa on arrival and must use the official Zimbabwe eVisa portal (evisa.gov.zw) in advance. The standard tourist option is a single-entry eVisa costing USD 30, permitting a stay of up to 30 days, with the visa valid for entry within a limited window after issue. A double-entry visa and a multiple-entry visa are also available at higher cost. Official processing averages about 7 working days, so applying at least 2-3 weeks ahead is recommended. All travelers are also encouraged to complete the online Zimbabwe Entry Declaration Form before arrival for smoother processing. Zimbabwe is in Southern Africa and is not part of the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply. Fees are paid online by Visa or Mastercard and are non-refundable.
