Vietnam to Haiti visa requirements

Vietnamese ordinary passport holders MUST obtain a visa before traveling to Haiti. Vietnam is one of only nine nationalities (alongside Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Panama, Iran, Libya, Syria and Yemen) explicitly excluded from Haiti's general visa-free policy. You must apply at a Haitian embassy or consulate at least one month before departure. Haiti normally lets most foreign nationals enter visa-free for up to three months (paying only a US$10 tourist fee on arrival), but Vietnam is on a short list of nine countries whose citizens are specifically required to obtain a visa in advance. The Embassy of Haiti confirms Vietnamese nationals must apply for a tourist visa before travel, submitting a completed application form, two photos, a cover letter stating purpose and accommodation, proof of a round-trip ticket or reservation, an employer letter and a passport valid at least six months. The visitor/tourist visa costs US$25, is valid for three months and allows a single entry; applications must be lodged at least one month before departure. Note that some aggregator and airline (IATA) databases list a shorter five-country visa list that omits Vietnam; because official Embassy of Haiti guidance explicitly names Vietnam, the conservative and correct verdict is visa-required. On top of the visa, every foreign traveler also pays the US$10 tourist fee at the airport on arrival. Haiti is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
