Vietnam to Burkina Faso visa requirements

Vietnamese ordinary passport holders need a visa for Burkina Faso. The recommended route is the official online eVisa at visaburkina.bf (tourist category), which permits a short stay of up to 90 days. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory for entry. Burkina Faso is a West African country and is not part of the Schengen area, so no Schengen 90/180 or ETIAS rules apply. Vietnam is not a member of ECOWAS (the West African bloc whose citizens enter visa-free), so Vietnamese ordinary passport holders must obtain a visa before or on entry. The most reliable and recommended channel is the official electronic visa (eVisa) operated by the Burkinabe immigration authority at visaburkina.bf. The tourist eVisa is a short-stay visa valid for entry within a defined window and authorizing a stay not exceeding 90 days, issued in single- or multiple-entry form. A visa can alternatively be obtained from a Burkinabe embassy/consulate, and a visa on arrival exists for some travelers, but the eVisa is the standard, predictable option for Vietnamese tourists.
