Vietnam to Australia visa requirements

Vietnamese ordinary passport holders need a visa to visit Australia. Vietnam is NOT on the Australian ETA (subclass 601) eligible list, so the standard route is the Visitor visa (subclass 600) Tourist stream, applied online via ImmiAccount before travel. Australia does not grant visa-free or visa-on-arrival entry to Vietnamese ordinary passport holders, and Vietnam is not among the 34 countries/territories whose passports qualify for the app-based Electronic Travel Authority (ETA, subclass 601).
