🇺🇸UNITED STATES🇵🇭PHILIPPINESUS-PH Do United States passport holders need a visa to visit Philippines?
Americans get 30 days visa-free in the Philippines; eTravel registration required online within 72 hours before arrival. US passport holders enjoy 30 days visa-free entry to the Philippines as tourists. The eTravel registration (free) must be completed online at etravel.gov.ph within 72 hours before arrival - it replaced paper arrival/health cards in 2023 and is mandatory. The US has a huge Filipino diaspora and strong air connectivity: Philippine Airlines, United, and Delta serve Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), New York (JFK), and Honolulu (HNL) direct to Manila (MNL); PAL also flies to Cebu (CEB). Visa-free stays can be extended at Bureau of Immigration offices in 29-day increments up to a maximum of 36 months. Work, study, journalism, and longer stays require an appropriate visa class (9G, 9F, etc.) from a Philippine embassy.
