United States to Haiti visa requirements

US passport holders do not need a visa to visit Haiti for tourism. You can stay visa-free for up to 3 months (90 days). On arrival you pay a US$10 tourist fee, and your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry. As of 2026-05-30, ordinary U.S. passport holders enjoy visa-free entry to Haiti for tourism and short visits of up to 3 months (90 days). No advance visa or eVisa is required. Confirmed by the Embassy of Haiti and the U.S. Department of State: travelers need only a passport valid for at least six months from the date of arrival, proof of onward or return travel, and payment of a US$10 tourist fee collected on arrival at the airport. A visa is only required if you intend to stay longer than 90 days. Travelers should note that the U.S. Department of State maintains a Level 4 'Do Not Travel' advisory for Haiti due to kidnapping, crime, civil unrest, and limited healthcare; many commercial flights remain suspended or disrupted. Haiti is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
